Meet the Founder
WYCO Media is a South Florida-based photography and video company serving brands, organizations, schools, and event producers throughout the United States and beyond. Specializing in event photography, event videography, headshots, school photography, and branded visual content, WYCO Media creates imagery designed to capture authentic moments, strengthen audience engagement, and extend the impact of every experience.
Founded by David Thomas, WYCO Media was inspired by David's roots in Wyandotte County, Kansas. The name "WYCO" was created as a personal tribute to the community where he grew up and the experiences that helped shape his entrepreneurial journey.
A lifelong entrepreneur with an extensive corporate background, David spent more than three decades in leadership roles within the insurance industry, including management experience with a Fortune 500 company. He later founded both a title insurance agency and an insurance consulting company, experiences that shaped his understanding of business, marketing, customer relationships, and brand presentation.
Photography has always been a passion, but over time that passion evolved into a visual media brand built around storytelling, strategy, and service. Today, David combines his business experience with creative vision to help organizations, leaders, and brands communicate more effectively through photography and video.
From local community events and corporate conferences to international assignments, WYCO Media has provided photography and video coverage across the United States, the Caribbean, and Europe. These experiences have reinforced a simple belief: every event, organization, and milestone has a story worth telling.
